Today I had an open (observed) lesson with my wonderful 2nd grade ESL students, and my heart is full. Everything we worked on came together so beautifully. The students were engaged, active, and confident—they truly showed how much they’ve learned and grown. Seeing them participate with enthusiasm and joy reminded me why I love teaching so much. I felt proud- not only of them, but of the journey we are on together. Step by step, lesson by lesson, we are building something meaningful.
