I bought this entire pile of aluminum cable for only $5. Today is part two and you'll finally see how much aluminum I recovered and how much money I made. Let's get started. I'm curious, how many of you actually recycle aluminum? Probably not many. Everyone chases copper, but aluminum gets overlooked. Yes, aluminum is cheaper, but aluminum recovered from electrical cables is usually worth more than regular scrap aluminum, so if you have enough of it, it can still be a great profit. I never throw it away. I save it and once I have a big pile, I take it to a plastic recycling center and make a few extra dollars from that too.
